Faridah Sarah
Faridah is a UK qualified Solicitor with over 20 years of experience specializing in domestic and international dispute resolution. She has been based in the UAE for the past 10 years. Faridah advises both UAE and international entities on arbitration, litigation (including risks and avoidance), white collar crime and employment law in the DIFC, ADGM and onshore Dubai working closely with our trusted local advocates.
Faridah is registered with the DIFC Courts as a registered DIFC court practitioner and a registered DIFC Wills Practitioner.

Charles Ingmire
After taking a degree in Classics at Leeds University, Charles qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales and then took an MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration from Kings College London (2004). Charles has over 20 years’ experience in resolving disputes. He moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2010.
Charles’ focus is on dispute resolution through settlement first, or alternatively through court litigation or arbitration. He is known for being extremely approachable and for having great attention to detail which he combines with a reasonable approach to settling disputes.
He advises on and conducts arbitrations (under DIAC, LCIA and ICC Rules of Arbitration). Typical issues that arise include non-payment, variation claims, extension of time and liquidated damages claims and termination.
Charles drafts and reviews all forms of contract and has extensive experience of the FIDIC Conditions used extensively in the UAE.

Arbitration and court litigation
- Successful arbitration claim on behalf of a main contractor against a developer in relation to underpayment of AED 100m on a super tall tower in Dubai Marina.
- Successfully defending a DIAC arbitration claim for AED 350m on behalf of a Master Developer in DIAC arbitration proceedings. The claim was withdrawn after submission of the Answer/response.
- Successful arbitration claim on behalf of a project management company under LCIA Rules.
- Abu Dhabi - claim by main subcontractor against the main contractor for termination, underpayment, wrongful call on the performance bond and liability to its subcontractor.
- Advising a subcontractor in relation to design related claims on the landmark building project in Dubai.
- Advised on 14 claims for an international firm of PM/Built Asset Consultants.
- MEP - repeat instructions from a firm of MEP engineers.
- Repeat work for a UAE family-owned construction group.
