Charles is a UK qualified Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales with over 20 years’ experience in practice.

MSc in Construction Law and Arbitration from Kings College London (2004).

Charles’ focus is on dispute resolution through settlement, commercial litigation or arbitration. He is known for being extremely approachable and for having great attention to detail which he combines with a reasonable approach to settling disputes.

He advises on and conducts arbitrations (under DIAC, LCIA and ICC Rules of Arbitration). Typical issues include non-payment, variation claims, extension of time claims and termination related issues.

Charles also drafts and reviews all forms of contract and has extensive experience of the FIDIC Conditions used extensively in the UAE.

In the UK Charles represented clients in adjudication [Westminster v Beckingham [2004] EWHC 138 (TCC)].
